About Us
The Law Office of Anthony Cartee opened in Orange County in 2008, in an effort to prove that the old adage "innocent until proven broke," could be an exception and not a rule. We believe that zealous advocacy can be had at a fair price, and our representation of you is concentrated on seeing your case through to the end, whether it is through trial or appeal.
Our office primarily focuses on trademark applications, trademark litigation and related business disputes. We provide a niche service for small to mid-size businesses that might find themselves squeezed out of effective counsel due to the unfettered hourly fees that a large firm can charge. Our lawyers provides creative solutions, whether in the courtroom or with the client's litigation budget.

Anthony is a 2005 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law and holds a Master of Professional Writing degree from the University of Southern California. He is admitted in the state and federal courts of both Illinois and California.
During law school, Anthony externed for the Honorable William J. Bauer on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
After graduation, Anthony served as law clerk for the Honorable Nancy J. Arnold in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, from 2005 through 2007. He then returned to Southern California and joined Friedman Stroffe & Gerard, working in its litigation practice group and handling a wide variety of civil matters, ranging from construction defect defense to intellectual property disputes. He resigned from that firm in October 2008 to spend more time with his newborn daughter and to start his own firm.
Although Anthony’s focus is on intellectual property matters, he has counseled clients in bankruptcy, immigration, and real estate matters. He serves on the State Bar of California Executive Committee for Solo and Small Firms, and Anthony currently lives in Orange County with his wife and children.
